We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Student Services team. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) to support the implementation of occupational therapy services for students in grades K-8. This role focuses on fostering students' independence, access to curriculum, and participation in both academic and non-academic school activities.

Responsibilities
Implement occupational therapy treatment plans designed by the supervising OTR.

Provide direct and small-group services to students, focusing on fine motor, visual-motor, sensory regulation, executive function, and functional classroom skills.

Support classroom staff with strategies and accommodations that promote access, engagement, and independence.

Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress toward IEP goals and report to supervising OTR.

Assist in developing and adapting materials, tools, and classroom supports.

Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to ensure carryover of strategies across settings.

Participate in team meetings, professional development, and student support planning as needed.

Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations for documentation and service delivery.

Qualifications
Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Current Massachusetts (or applicable state) COTA license and certification from NBCOT.

Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or related setting preferred.
