ABOUT THIS ROLE Looking to make an impact behind the scenes of education? Join our mission-driven nonprofit supporting educational programs across Massachusetts. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll play a key role in sourcing, hiring, and onboarding talented educators and staff who support students in specialized education settings.

In this role, you will work closely with SEIS leadership and the Human Resources team to recruit diverse, qualified candidates, support hiring initiatives, and help ensure programs are staffed with the professionals needed to support student success.

We are looking for someone who is organized, collaborative, and passionate about connecting great talent with meaningful work in education. This is a remote hybrid role, requiring one day per week in the office at either our Northampton or Westborough, MA location.

COMPENSATION

$65,000 - $72,000 annually | Comprehensive benefits package included | Participation in MA State Retirement or MA Teachers Retirement System

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Recruit, screen, and hire qualified candidates for SEIS positions across Massachusetts

• Develop and maintain a pipeline of educators and staff for current and future openings

• Coordinate interviews, reference checks, and hiring logistics with HR and hiring managers

• Support workforce planning and assist with job description updates

• Promote SEIS opportunities through recruitment initiatives, partnerships, and events

• Ensure candidates complete required hiring documentation and compliance requirements

• Support inclusive hiring practices and DEI recruitment initiatives

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or a similar role
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with leadership and hiring teams
• Knowledge of K-12 education systems preferred
• Experience with recruiting systems such as Paycom preferred
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel preferred
