This is a full-time postion with .5 being assigned to Newington Elementary School & .5 being assigned to the district.
District responsibilities:
- Assists with the planning, organization, and delivery of professional learning, resources, and support materials related to all school psychology services and special education practices.
- Collaborates with district staff and school teams to promote consistency in practices, procedures, and service delivery across schools.
- Serves as a resource in addressing complex student cases, multidisciplinary problem-solving, and procedural questions as appropriate.
- Assists in the development, review, and dissemination of guidance documents, tools, and resources to support effective school psychology practices.
- Supports communication and collaboration among school psychologists and related staff to encourage shared practices and ongoing professional growth.
