Looking for an individual that loves working with children. Professionalism, attention to detail a must. Must have the ability to understand children and find working with them a pleasure. Energy, enthusiasm, and teamwork required.

Hours will be 10:30-3:00 M-Th. Additional hours within the childcare center may be available.

Qualifications:

- Must be 18 years or older

- Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent

- CPR/First Aid Certification (willing to train within 90 days of employment)

Responsibilities:

- Complete food service activities for classrooms

- Maintain food service inventory

- Provide breaks for staff members within the GSRP classrooms.

- Assist in promoting and supervising the emotional, social, intellectual and physical development of each child

- Interact with children and parents in a positive, caring, and concerned manner

- Able to independently handle the responsibilities of a group of children, while maintaining a safe environment during group activities

- Willingness and physically capable to walk distances and participate in all learning and playground activities

- Responsible for maintaining confidentiality for all school-related information

- Position may include assisting with toileting and/or diapering

- Must follow all childcare license rules and regulations

To perform the essential functions of the job, one may be required to maintain a physical condition necessary for sitting and walking for periods of time, climbing, stooping, kneeling, moderate lifting, general manual dexterity, adequate vision, hearing and speech required.
