Job Description Holliston High School is looking for an organized and personable
School Counseling Secretary to join their team. This central role serves as a vital point of contact for students, faculty, and the community, ensuring the smooth daily operations of the counseling department through scheduling, communication, and meticulous data management.
Responsibilities:Calendar & Communication Management:- Maintain school counselors' schedules by booking student appointments and meetings.
- Answer phone calls and serve as a helpful point of contact for students, faculty, and visitors.
Event Coordination:- Organize and manage Advanced Placement (AP) test administration.
- Coordinate department milestones including awards nights and college fairs.
Student Support & Liaison Services:- Maintain student enrollment data and the school honor roll.
- Coordinate scholarship opportunities and community involvement programs.
- Act as the primary liaison to the online collaborative program.
Administrative Operations:- Manage department mailings and maintain student records and data.
- Perform other administrative and supportive responsibilities as they arise.
Requirements:- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Strong technical skills
- Spreadsheet and database experience preferred
- Ability to work and communicate positively with students, parents and staff
