Job Title: K-12 Counselor

What You'll Do:

• Provide direct and indirect counseling services to support students' academic and career growth.
• Monitor students experiencing academic or behavioral challenges.
• Facilitate transitional planning activities and help students set measurable, attainable educational goals.
• Deliver individual and small group counseling focused on academic and career objectives.
• Participate in team meetings and use assessments to guide interventions and support services.
• Support student attendance, engagement, and at-risk student interventions.
• Maintain records, monitor reporting deadlines, and manage mandated testing programs.
• Provide guidance on post-secondary planning, career exploration, and enrollment in career-technical programs.
• Maintain up-to-date scholarship, financial aid, and college/military resource files.

What You'll Bring:

• Valid Ohio State Board of Education license.
• Strong active listening, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain professional, confidential student records.
• Knowledge of academic and career guidance practices.
• Record free of criminal violations that would prohibit employment.
