Job Description New Philadelphia City School District is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2026-2027 school year.
Required Licensures:- Bachelors or Graduate-Level Degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensure
- Either a substitute teaching or teaching certificate/licensure from the Ohio Department of Education
Required Skills and Abilities:- Ability to effectively conduct behavioral assessments
- Ability to monitor quality of behavior strategies and plans
- Knowledge and skills in behavior support strategies and techniques
- Basic knowledge of mental health diagnoses and psychotropic medications.
- Ability to write articulate correspondence
- Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
- Flexibility in work schedule
The successful candidate must also:- Acquire and maintain the status of Registered Behavior Technician or other BACB-approved credential within the first 6 months of employment.
- Acquire and maintain a certified instructor status in a comprehensive, integrated program that prevents, de-escalates, and, if necessary, intervenes when behaviors pose a threat of harm to self and others.
- Acquire and maintain CPR/First Aid Certification
The successful candidate will be compensated commensurate with skills and experience.
