New Philadelphia City School District is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2026-2027 school year.

Required Licensures:
  • Bachelors or Graduate-Level Degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensure
  • Either a substitute teaching or teaching certificate/licensure from the Ohio Department of Education

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to effectively conduct behavioral assessments
  • Ability to monitor quality of behavior strategies and plans
  • Knowledge and skills in behavior support strategies and techniques
  • Basic knowledge of mental health diagnoses and psychotropic medications.
  • Ability to write articulate correspondence
  • Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
  • Flexibility in work schedule

The successful candidate must also:
  • Acquire and maintain the status of Registered Behavior Technician or other BACB-approved credential within the first 6 months of employment.
  • Acquire and maintain a certified instructor status in a comprehensive, integrated program that prevents, de-escalates, and, if necessary, intervenes when behaviors pose a threat of harm to self and others.
  • Acquire and maintain CPR/First Aid Certification

The successful candidate will be compensated commensurate with skills and experience.
