Description: Anticipated -- Director - Special Education K-2
Job Summary: The DIRECTOR - SPECIAL EDUCATION (PK-2) provides leadership, supervision, and oversight for special education programs and services for students in preschool
through grade two. This role ensures compliance with federal and state mandates, supports the use of evidence-based instructional practices, and collaborates closely
with building leaders, families, and district departments to promote student growth and achievement within a multi-tiered system of support.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Valid Ohio Department of Education licensure in special education or educational administration.
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in special education, including supervisory experience.
Valid Ohio driver's license.
Working Conditions: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week and 260 days per year based on a school year calendar, 1 FTE.
