POSITION: Food Service Bus Driver
LOCATION: Alliance High School
REPORTS TO: Food Service Director, Director of Operations
WORK HOURS: 191 work days, 8 hours per day
Qualifications:
Previous experience in straight truck delivery preferred
Previous experience in food handling preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid Ohio Drivers License and good driving record.
Demonstrated aptitude for successful performance of the tasks listed in the job description approved by the Alliance Board of Education.
Certificate of good health signed by a licensed physician
Residence in the taxing district of Alliance City Schools preferred.
Basic responsibilities include:
Delivers meals and supplies to each facility accurately, safely and on time.
Assumes responsibility for receiving and warehousing shipments of food and supplies for food service.
Pulls food and supplies from stock for production, based on stock requisitions and menu needs.
Completes required delivery, inventory and requisition records.
Checks food truck daily to insure maximum operation efficiency. Adds fluids, grease and air and cleans truck as needed. Reports all problems to transportation and food service supervisors.
