Summary:
Assist the secondary school principal in the areas of instructional leadership and supervision, curriculum development, staff development, after-school programming, and discipline referrals.

Salary:
Range based on the 2026-2027 Assistant Principal Salary Scale for 5 - 8 grades is $92,700 - $142,756; for 9 - 12 grades is $97,850 - $150,687.
Workday:
Full-time/ 12 month/ 260 Days

Summary:
Assist the secondary school principal in the areas of instructional leadership and supervision, curriculum development, staff development, after-school programming, and discipline referrals.
Qualifications:
- Virginia teaching license with endorsement in Administration and Supervision Pre-K - 12 or eligibility for such
- 3 year minimum of successful teaching experience, preferably at the middle school level
- Demonstrated knowledge of instructional practices and curriculum development
- Ability to build positive school culture through cultivation of positive relationships
- Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary for working effectively with students, teachers, parents, and administrators
