Administrative Assistant II-12 Month (TRANS)

Job Description

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or GED required; a degree in business administration or similar previous experience preferred
  
• Minimum two years of office experience preferably in a similar role
  
• Strong communication skills both orally and in writing; excellent proofreading and writing skills (grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.) required;
  
• Professional decorum
  
• Ability to work with all stakeholders to foster relationships with students, families, schools and community members;
  
• Experience handling or managing expenditure accounts is preferred;
  
• Obtain and maintain the commission of a notary public;
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel), Google (specifically Docs and Sheets);
  
• Ability to learn and maintain systems to include the student information system and any other system utilized to perform work;
  
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment;
  
• Self-motivated and works well individually and with others;
  
• Maintain confidentiality and safeguard information

Pay Rate:

Administrative Support Grade C5b Salary Scale (credit is based on years of full-time experience in a related position)

Assignment:
Full time / 12 months / 245 days
