Assist NAPS staff with supervising, monitoring, and encouraging students in a before or aftercare program. This program runs from 7:00-7:50 AM, and 2:40-5:30 PM each day. The ideal candidate will be aware of the NAPS community, understand our school culture and the importance of military families. We are looking for a person that is flexible, a self-starter, and a great team player with the ability to be creative and high energy to meet elementary student needs. NAPS is an accredited independent school with a warm and loving environment. Preference will be given to those candidates with familiarity and experience within the NAPS community and can speak to the school's mission and expansion of the school. NAPS is a preschool through eighth grade building, and functions as an independent school in the AIMS accreditation program. This position is part-time, 3-4 hours a day/15-20 hours a week. This interested candidate will be a key member of our staff working on meeting the school's mission and goal statements throughout the year.
Responsibilities & Roles:
Oversee daily activities that focus on developing students' social, emotional, and motor skills.
Assist with homework such as reading, writing, social studies, and math.
Participate and plan games and crafts based on the student's ability.
Meet with Extended Care Supervisor on ways to best meet student needs and growth.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience:
Graduated from high school
Formal interview with the administration team at NAPS
