Position: Vernon Center Middle School - Music/Band Teacher-ANTICIPATED OPENING
Grades 6-8
Description: The Administration is seeking a person qualified by education and experience responsible for planning and delivering engaging instrumental music instruction to middle school students while fostering musical growth, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music. Directs band rehearsals and performances, assesses student progress, and creates a positive, inclusive learning environment. Collaborates with colleagues, communicates regularly with families, and participates in school concerts, performances, and other extracurricular activities. Maintains classroom management, inventory of instruments and equipment, and fulfills all professional responsibilities in accordance with district policies and curriculum standards.
Salary and Benefits: The salary range for the 26-27 school year is per contract with a competitive benefits package. Insurance Information Please see attached contract for details.
