Job Description Cafeteria II Food Services Assistant/CookPosition PurposeThe role and assignments of a Cafeteria II Food Services Assistant/Cook, Bookkeeper is to ensure quality nutrition and standards.
Essential Performance Responsibilities- Maintains high standards of control for quality food production and service. Must be comfortable using knives and kitchen equipment.
- Maintains an environment conducive to protecting the health and well-being of the students, through high levels of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Maintains quality standards for the presentation and service of food in a pleasant environment.
- Ensures compliance with school/district policies and procedures.
- Implements administrative policies for proper use and care of all equipment.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in an ethical and professional manner.
- Communicates effectively with unit manager and other employees.
Additional DutiesAssumes other responsibilities as specified by the Director of Food Services.

Qualification ProfileEducationHigh School Diploma or GED required
