Job Title: Secretary (GHS Career Center)

Supervisor: Principal

Terms of Employment: 190 days

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Job Summary:

To assist the principal in the efficient day-to-day operation of the school's administrative office, specifically the Georgetown Career Center.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma.
  • Previous secretarial experience.
  • Typing, computer and calculator skills.
  • Familiarity with standard office equipment.
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Essential Duties:

  • Acts as the administrative assistant/secretary in the Georgetown Career Center's office.
  • Serves as the primary point of entry for the Career Center front office, including greeting visitors, managing guest access, and issuing guest passes in accordance with school procedures.
  • Maintains and completes required data validation to support accurate student records and reporting in PowerSchool.
  • Creates and prepares expulsion packets for Principal review and approval.
  • Assists with the entry of student fees.
  • Maintains and updates faculty and staff emergency contact information.
  • Supervisor may assign other duties as needed.
