Description: Maintenance Engineer III, 1 FTE
Job Summary: Perform duties as pertaining to repair, maintenance, and operation of building structure, plumbing, heating, air-conditioning, refrigeration, and electric.
Qualifications: Must have five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in building operations, maintenance and Construction.
Must have at least five (5) years of experience leading others in building operations, maintenance and construction.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of electrical systems. Knowledge of appropriate handling of chemicals such as: pesticides, herbicides, boiler treatment, chiller treatment, Freon, coil cleaner, acid, fertilizer, lime,
paint, Salt, Adhesives, Cleaning fluids and compounds, and Liquid tar.
Knowledge of appropriate handling and use of equipment such as: trucks, vans, dump trucks, trailers, tractors, bobcats, forklifts, snowblades, salt spreaders, mowers, trimmers, leaf blower
and weed eaters, Lathe, Hand and power hand tools, ladders, back hoe, man lift, MIG and STICK for welding, cutting torch, electrical tester, Hilti drill, gauges, sprayers, recovery machines,
vacuum pumps, aerator, ditch digger, and snakes.
Must have a general knowledge of the building trades and OSHA standards as it relates to work practices.
Must be a licensed journeyman electrician and plumber, certified for back flow testing, hold fire sprinkler certification and must have or obtain a contractor's license.
EPA certified. Building Operators Certificate obtain when available.

Working Conditions: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week and 260 days per year.
Per salary schedule at Lakota, starting at $25.78 per hour, based on verified previous experience.
