Description: District Translators

Job Summary:
District translators may be asked to complete any of the following responsibilities:
Oral and/or written translations in parent/teacher meetings, which may include face-to-face meetings or phone conferences.
Oral and/or written translations for student testing.
Written translations of school communications.

Qualifications:
Speaking, reading, and writing proficiency in both English and the language needed for translation, including using academic vocabulary.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to pass an FBI and BCII criminal background check.
Preference for availability during school hours.

Working Conditions: As needed, hours vary based on need. Current rate of pay is $40.00 per hour.
